Joshua Cody is an American writer, composer, and filmmaker.  Recipient of the 2013 Charles Ives Prize for Music from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, he is also the author of [sic], which was published worldwide by Norton and Bloomsbury, was named the 2011 New York Times Memoir of the Year, shortlisted for London's Wellcome Trust, and earned him third place in the 2011 Barnes & Noble Discover Great Writers Award.  He received his doctorate from Columbia University in 2013.  An eight-time filmmaker, he's also active in other creative media.  He is represented by William Morris Endeavor.  He lives in Manhattan.
